“Blackbird was the perfect place to record ‘Bootfirst’—not only because of the incredible records made in those rooms, many of which I grew up listening to, and the incredible collection of vintage gear and instruments, but also because of the unmatched sound of the studio,” said Lam.

“Lowell Reynolds, who produced ‘Bootfirst,’ also mixed my first two singles, ‘Try Harder’ and ‘Move On,’ back in 2021, when I was still figuring out my voice as an artist. This time, I was coming back to Blackbird with a much clearer sense of who I am, and that felt like a really full-circle moment.”

“Bella has been an absolute treat to work with. I keep playing her songs for my friends and family, and we all agree — she’s fantastic. Songwriting - check, singing - check, and complete package - double check,” added Reynolds.

KIT Plugins Brings the Legendary Blackbird Studio D Reverb Chamber to Your DAW

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

KIT Plugins Brings the Legendary
Blackbird Studio D Reverb Chamber to Your DAW

Award-winning Nashville developer introduces BB Chamber D, faithfully recreating one of music's most celebrated reverb chambers for producers, engineers, and creators worldwide.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Award-winning Nashville-based audio software developer KIT Plugins is bringing one of the recording industry's most celebrated acoustic spaces into the digital realm with the release of BB Chamber D. Developed in collaboration with Blackbird Studio, the plug-in faithfully recreates the lush depth and musical decay of the legendary Studio D reverb chamber while extending its capabilities with adjustable room dimensions, authentic microphone and dampening options, and flexible source placement. Complete with built-in saturation, EQ, compression, filtering, and full I/O controls, BB Chamber D delivers the unmistakable ambience of Studio D with the creative flexibility today's producers demand.

For a limited time, KIT's BB Chamber D is available at an introductory price of $85—a savings of 30% here: https://kitplugins.com/products/bb-chamber-d

Long regarded as one of Nashville's most coveted acoustic spaces, the legendary reverb chamber inside Blackbird Studio's Studio D has shaped the sound of countless recordings. Prized by producers and engineers for its lush ambience, natural depth and unmistakable musical character, the chamber has become one of the most celebrated recording spaces.

BB Chamber D was built using KIT Plugins' proprietary ADPT:AI technology—an advanced modeling engine developed specifically for reverb and room emulation—the plugin captures the chamber's complex reflections and immersive depth, giving producers and engineers around the world access to one of recording's most sought-after acoustic environments directly inside their DAW.

"Every great recording space has a personality," said Jim Collett, newly appointed President of KIT Plugins. "Studio D's chamber has an unmistakable sense of depth and emotion that you feel the moment you hear it. With  ADPT:AI technology, we weren't trying to build another reverb—we wanted to preserve the soul of one of the most inspiring rooms in modern recording history while giving creators the freedom to explore it in entirely new ways.”

While the original chamber remains a fixture inside Blackbird Studio, BB Chamber D removes its physical limitations. Producers can reshape the virtual space with adjustable Size and Width controls, explore multiple microphone perspectives, recreate authentic chamber dampening techniques and experiment with flexible source placement and routing—all while preserving the unmistakable sound that has made Studio D a destination for generations of recording artists.

Key Features

  • Preset Manager: Load Factory, Collaborator, or User presets.

  • Adjustable Size: Unlike the fixed physical chamber, adjust the virtual length of the room to create tighter spaces or extended, lush decays without compromising tone.

  • Width Control: Expand the stereo image of the reverb for anything from focused depth to wide, immersive spread.

  • Classic Microphone Modeling: Choose between a C24 (balanced and natural), R88 (warm and smooth), or 414 (bright and detailed) — all modeled after mics commonly used in the chamber.

  • Authentic Chamber Dampening: Virtually add cushions inside the chamber to alter decay time and tonal character, just like engineers do in Studio D.

  • Creative Source Placement: Route audio through Hi-Fi, PA or Direct source modes and position signals inside the chamber or feed them from Studio D's live room — recreating real-world tracking and reamping techniques.

  • PreDelay: Adjust the onset timing of the reverb for added separation and clarity.

  • Saturation: Add console saturation from our A5 emulation of the Studio D console — ideal for adding warmth, grit, or harmonic richness to the reverb signal.

  • Filters: Engage pre and/or post high-pass and low-pass filters for precise tonal shaping.

  • EQ: A 4-band EQ inspired by the console in Blackbird’s Studio D, with fluid gain control for detailed shaping of the reverberated signal.

  • Compressor: Control the dynamics of the reverb signal with a smooth, musical compressor.

  • Ducker: Activate ducking mode to allow the dry signal to sit forward while the reverb subtly moves out of the way — great for vocals and lead instruments.

  • Compatibility — Available in VST3, AU and AAX formats for macOS 10.14 or above (Intel, and M-Series) and Windows 7 or above (Intel i3, AMD Quad-Core, or later) with support for all major DAWs.

NASHVILLE, TN - May 28, 2026 - Rising Asian-American country artist Bella Lam is kicking off the summer with the release of her highly anticipated new single, “Bootfirst,” arriving June 26. Ahead of the release, Lam is gearing up for a week of performances, fan events, and appearances during CMA Music Festival.

Fans can now pre-save “Bootfirst” (HERE) ahead of its release.

Named in Holler’s “10 Artists You Need To Know” and praised by Chattanooga Pulse as “one of the fastest-rising emerging voices in country music,” Lam has built a rapidly growing fanbase through relentless touring, performing more than 100 live shows annually while amassing over 83,000 followers across social media platforms.

ASIAN AMERICAN COUNTRY ARTIST BELLA LAM RELEASES

HEARTBREAK-FUELED SINGLE “TAKE IT OUT ON MY GUITAR” TODAY

'“Write It, Don’t Text It” TikTok Series Reveals Fans’ Real Breakup Confessions Every Wednesday In February

“Tennessee’s most promising new voices in country music.”
- Chattanooga’s Top 40 Station, WDOD-FM (Hits 96)

NASHVILLE, TN (Feb. 13, 2026) - Asian American country artist Bella Lam’s new single, “Take It Out On My Guitar,” is out today. With more than 60,000 followers on TikTok, Lam has cultivated a loyal and steadily growing audience, fueled by her candid storytelling and her viral “Write It, Don’t Text It” series, with her following jumping from 47,000 to over 60,000 in just four weeks. Named in Holler.’s 10 Artists You Need To Know, “Take It Out On My Guitar” has already been featured in New Scene Magazine, Guitar Girl Magazine, The Pop Break, and more. “Take It Out On My Guitar” is available on all digital streaming platforms here: https://unitedmasters.com/m/take-it-out-on-my-guitar

“I’ve always been pretty non-confrontational,” Bella shares. “So instead of saying everything that I’m feeling in the moment, I tend to bottle it up and pour it into my songwriting. ‘Take It Out On My Guitar’ is really about choosing that path. Sure, I could go full Carrie Underwood on someone’s car — but I’d much rather channel that energy into a kick-ass song.”

With “Take it Out On My Guitar,” Bella turns heartache into fuel, pouring every ounce of hurt and fire into a song that hits just as hard as the heartbreak. With nods to country heavyweights like Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, and The Chicks, she proves that sometimes the best revenge isn’t a dramatic scene—it’s a melody he can’t escape.

“Take It Out On My Guitar” was co-written by Lam alongside Lauren McLamb (Dierks Bentley, Josh Ross, Dylan Marlowe) and Chris Rafetto (Eddie Montgomery, Emmy Russell, and Kelsey Lamb), and produced by Matthew Morrisey.

The single follows weeks of fan engagement through Lam’s interactive “Write It, Don’t Text It” TikTok series, a breakup hotline where listeners share the messages they wish they could send to their exes. The confessional series has drawn fans nationwide and continues with new episodes every Wednesday in February.

Listen to the latest episode of “Write It, Don’t Text It” (HERE).

Earlier this week, Lam celebrated the release of her new single with a special pre-release show at Songbirds in Chattanooga, where she performed a full band set as Bella Lam and The Boys. The performance gave fans an early preview of the track and marked one of the first opportunities to hear the song live ahead of its official release.

“Take It Out On My Guitar” follows Lam’s previously released song “Tears In My Tequila,” co-written with Jason Blaine and Benji Cowart.

Lauded as “one of the fastest-rising emerging voices in country music” (Chattanooga Pulse), the 23-year-old multi-instrumentalist was born in Nashville and raised in West Tennessee. Lam performs well over 100 shows each year, including performances at the legendary Bluebird Cafe. She is currently on tour and has previously performed with artists including Candi Jenkins, Daniel Donato, and Strung Like A Horse. For more information, visit https://bellalammusic.com/

NORA. RELEASES CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED DEBUT EP JUST WORDS. TODAY

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NORA. RELEASES CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED
DEBUT EP
JUST WORDS. TODAY

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 30, 2026) - Rising singer-songwriter NORA. makes a powerful first statement today with the release of her highly-anticipated debut EP, Just Words. Already generating buzz across outlets including The Honey Pop, Unclear Magazine, Entertainment Focus, Holler, OnesToWatch, DittyTV, FandomDaily, and WITF Sessions, the project positions NORA. as one of the most compelling new voices in contemporary pop.

LISTEN TO JUST WORDS.

NORA.’s six-song, coming-of-age collection, captures the ache, clarity, and courage of early adulthood — tracing moments of heartbreak and self-discovery. Blending indie pop with subtle folk, Americana and country textures, the EP showcases NORA.’s emotionally honest songwriting and irresistible, melody-driven sound.

"Clever and self-aware, the song channels Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, and Tate McRae energy, while still carrying the Southern charm of artists like Maren Morris and Kelsea Ballerini."

["Too Good To Be True."] - Entertainment Focus

Underscoring her strength as a songwriter, NORA. gave a candid interview and made the live performance debut of her title track “Just Words.” on central Pennsylvania’s WITF-FM Sessions (NPR/PBS).

In her interview, NORA. shared, “This is the first project that I’ve ever put out and I’m really excited about it. It’s like the normal, twenty-something struggles, and me figuring them out. One hundred percent of my songs are from my experience and the feelings in them are very real.”

Folk N Rock premiered “Somebody’s Secret,” earlier this week in the lead-up to release remarking, "She takes the messy edges of a bad situation and wraps them in a song so sweet you almost forget it cuts." The carefully crafted review spotlights yet another standout moment from the EP ahead of the impending Valentine’s Day holiday.

With emotionally gripping songs saturated in NORA.'s hallmark, a candid and unfiltered storytelling style, her debut EP has earned praise from media and industry executives alike:

“NORA. has the ability to translate experiences into relatable lyrics, and she has the musical chops to back it up.” - Music Connection

"Just Words. blends shimmering indie-pop textures with subtle folk and country edges, a sound that feels rooted in Nashville yet eager to push beyond its borders." - Entertainment Focus

Collaboration Brings the Legendary Helios Sound to the Modern DAW

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 21st, 2026) -  Ahead of the upcoming NAMM Show, award-winning music software developer KIT Plugins has announced a new partnership with H2 Audio, the Detroit-based company behind the highly respected revival of the legendary Helios consoles. Together, they will bring the unmistakable sound of Helios into the modern DAW. Both companies will share a booth at the 2026 NAMM Show (#14112).

Originally designed by Dick Swettenham in the late 1960s, Helios consoles helped shape some of the most iconic recordings in music history. In recent years, H2 Audio has meticulously re-engineered and reintroduced Helios hardware to studios, earning acclaim for precision-crafted analog equipment that delivers classic, timeless sounds. This new collaboration with KIT Plugins represents the next chapter in that legacy, translating the celebrated Helios sound into powerful software built for today’s producers and engineers.

By combining H2 Audio’s deep expertise and access to original Helios designs with KIT Plugins’ award-winning development team and sonic emulation capability, the partnership aims to deliver an authentic Helios experience inside the DAW — preserving the character, warmth, and musicality that made the consoles legendary, while making them accessible to a new generation of creators.

“H2 Audio’s uncompromising approach to authenticity makes this a natural collaboration for us. The passionate team at H2 has done incredible work to maintain the integrity of the Helios sound. We’re thrilled to partner and be a part of helping carry their legacy forward, giving producers and creators the ability to work with the Helios sound directly inside their DAW,” said Matt Kleinman, Founder of KIT Plugins.

“H2 Audio was founded to protect and extend the Helios legacy,” added Perry Tell, Co-Founder, H2 Audio. “Working with KIT Plugins allows us to bring that same level of authenticity and care into the digital domain, without compromising what made Helios special in the first place.”

Some of the first products to be released will include emulations of the Helios 0011 channel strip and the Helios compressor. The upcoming plug-ins will model the original Helios circuits while introducing modern features designed for contemporary workflows. Additional details, including release timing and product specifications, will be announced in the coming months.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Asian-American Country Artist Bella Lam Proves the Best Revenge Is a Song He Can’t Escape with “Take It Out On My Guitar”

New single arrives Feb. 13th alongside newly announced
winter/spring tour dates

Bella launches an entertainment-based breakup hotline to coincide with the release of her new single

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 20, 2026) - Building her fanbase with over 52,000 followers on TikTok and a relentless touring schedule performing over 100 shows a year, Asian-American singer-songwriter Bella Lam is preparing for the release of her song, “Take It Out On My Guitar.” The new single arrives on Feb. 13th alongside newly announced winter/spring tour dates, listed below.*

In support of her new single, Bella is also launching a Write It, Don’t Text It campaign—an interactive, entertainment-based breakup hotline designed for fans who still have something to say. Leading up to the release of her new single “Take It Out On My Guitar,” fans can call 833-582-5348 to vent, confess, and share exactly what they’d tell their ex. Select messages will be chosen to be shared anonymously and read by Bella on her TikTok channel.

Pre-save “Take It Out On My Guitar” here: https://unitedmasters.com/m/take-it-out-on-my-guitar

With “Take it Out On My Guitar,” Bella turns heartache into fuel, pouring every ounce of hurt and fire into a song that hits just as hard as the heartbreak. With nods to country heavyweights – Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, and The Chicks – she proves that sometimes the best revenge isn’t a dramatic scene—it’s a melody he can’t escape.

Bella shared, “Take It Out On My Guitar was a concept that I came up with after listening to “Lover” by Taylor Swift. Her lyric “with every guitar string scar on my hand” was the inspiration for the title and theme of the song. I wanted to take that, and make an anthem for all the bad-ass country girls.”

Bella previewed the song on her Instagram page, view the full post HERE.

Born in Nashville and raised in West Tennessee, the 23-year-old songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is already building a resume that matches her ambition. She’s performed at the legendary Bluebird Cafe, continues to grow a fast-rising fanbase online, and spends most weekends on the road fronting Bella Lam and The Boys, all while completing her music degree at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga.

One of just a few songwriters of Asian descent in country music, Lam’s musical roots were nurtured early on by her grandfather—an immigrant from China who encouraged his grandchildren to learn instruments, instilling a lifelong passion that now fuels her bold sound.

Lam’s journey to the stage hasn’t been easy—it’s been shaped by resilience and determination. Born prematurely, Bella faced significant medical challenges at birth, including collapsed lungs that left her struggling to breathe. She later underwent years of occupational and speech therapy to overcome a severe lisp and fine motor difficulties—obstacles that once made a career in music feel out of reach.

“What I’m doing now used to be an impossible dream,” Lam says. “I couldn’t be more grateful.”

With “Take It Out On My Guitar,” Bella continues to establish herself as a rising voice in country music, pairing heartfelt storytelling with a growing national audience as she heads into 2026. “Take It Out On My Guitar” follows her previously-released song “Tears In My Tequila,” co-written with Jason Blaine and Benji Cowart.

Bella is currently on tour in support of her new music, and will be performing a special pre-release show on Sat., Jan. 24th at 7:00p.m. at Songbirds in Chattanooga, Tenn., where she currently resides. Tickets for the show are on sale (HERE). For more tour dates and information, visit https://bellalammusic.com/.

“Filming this video in my hometown—and in my very own childhood bedroom—was such a surreal, full-circle experience. This song is incredibly personal to me; it lives in that space between nostalgia and the push-and-pull of missing home while knowing you had to leave to spread your wings. Every moment of filming felt like a literal walk down memory lane, and I’m so grateful (and so excited) to finally share it with you all,” said NORA.

Directed by Karl Weidmann of Southern Cabin Films, the video places NORA. back in her childhood home, walking the empty hallways of her high school, and brushing past many recognizable landmarks in downtown Harrisburg, PA. NORA. shared more behind-the-scenes via her Instagram (HERE)

NORA.’s single “Since I’ve Been Gone.” continues to build momentum across platforms landing on Ones To Watch #NowWatching playlist, DittyTV’s New Music Friday playlist, Holler.’s Best New Country Songs playlist, and Fandom Daily’s Must-Listen tracks. The latter shared her, “...blend of contemporary country-pop elements will surely appeal to fans of Kelsea Ballerini, Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves.”

Since I’ve Been Gone.” follows NORA.’s bold and unapologetic debut single,Kiss My Ass.” Both songs will be included on her forthcoming EP Just Words. due out on Jan. 30th.

NORA.’s debut EP Just Words. is a candid exploration of self-discovery, personal growth, and the complexities of relationships. Title track “Just Words.” interrogates the true meaning behind the words we speak and examines the concepts of love and trust with emotional vulnerability. The confident and lyrically-smart “Kiss My Ass.” showcases her contagious sense of humor and unfiltered storytelling. Meanwhile her current single, "Since I've Been Gone." balances both nostalgia and self-reflection, packaged into a radio-friendly, synth-pop singalong. In totality, Just Words. paints a deeply relatable and honest portrait of early adulthood and personal evolution.

Based in Nashville, Tenn., NORA. discovered her love for music and songwriting early, a passion that led her to Belmont University. It was there that she honed her craft, writing songs inspired by everyday moments and lived experience. After graduating, NORA. made the bold decision to walk away from a traditional 9-to-5, choosing instead to follow her own creative path. Most recently, she made her performance debut at Nashville’s iconic Whiskey Jam and performed as part of Musicians On Call’s Hope For The Holidays campaign.
