NASHVILLE, TN - May 28, 2026 - Rising Asian-American country artist Bella Lam is kicking off the summer with the release of her highly anticipated new single, “Bootfirst,” arriving June 26. Ahead of the release, Lam is gearing up for a week of performances, fan events, and appearances during CMA Music Festival.

Fans can now pre-save “Bootfirst” (HERE) ahead of its release.

Named in Holler’s “10 Artists You Need To Know” and praised by Chattanooga Pulse as “one of the fastest-rising emerging voices in country music,” Lam has built a rapidly growing fanbase through relentless touring, performing more than 100 live shows annually while amassing over 83,000 followers across social media platforms.

Fueled by fearless ambition and free-spirited energy, “Bootfirst” captures the drive of a rising artist willing to take risks in pursuit of her dreams — a theme that closely reflects Lam’s own journey through country music. Bold, adventurous, and undeniably fun, the track delivers an electrifying soundtrack for late-night drives, spontaneous adventures, and the kind of all-or-nothing mindset that embraces uncertainty and dives headfirst into whatever comes next.

“‘Bootfirst’ is a summer anthem about diving headfirst into something without overthinking it or second-guessing yourself — just going all in, with no in-between,” says Bella Lam. “I think everyone has experienced that feeling at some point, and I hope this song brings people together in that way. I’m excited to release a song that feels like summer with your friends — whether you’re blasting it at a pool party, driving with the windows down, or making memories under the sun.”

Produced by Lowell Reynolds, “Bootfirst” was co-written by Lam alongside Jessica Cayne and Kayliann Lowe, and recorded at Blackbird Studio.

Lam teased her upcoming single “Bootfirst” and upcoming CMA Fest appearances on social media earlier this week, sharing exclusive preview content with fans (HERE).

“Bootfirst” is the follow-up to Bella’s previously released “Take It Out On My Guitar” and “Tears In My Tequila". The music video for “Take It Out On My Guitar” earned placements on The American Country Network and The Heartland Network, along with coverage from Music Row, Country Central, Country Swag, Ones To Watch, The Women Of Country, and more.

Lam recently announced a fan-driven social campaign, “Bootfirst Confessions,” alongside a custom “Bootfirst” sticker pack now available across Instagram and TikTok.

Fans are encouraged to share their own “Bootfirst” moments across social media—whether it’s moving to a new city, chasing a dream, or making a bold personal decision—using short-form video, photos, or interactive story tools. Lam will be actively engaging with submissions, reposting fan content, and spotlighting stories throughout the campaign. Read more (HERE)
