NORA. RELEASES CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED
DEBUT EP
JUST WORDS. TODAY

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 30, 2026) - Rising singer-songwriter NORA. makes a powerful first statement today with the release of her highly-anticipated debut EP, Just Words. Already generating buzz across outlets including The Honey Pop, Unclear Magazine, Entertainment Focus, Holler, OnesToWatch, DittyTV, FandomDaily, and WITF Sessions, the project positions NORA. as one of the most compelling new voices in contemporary pop.

LISTEN TO JUST WORDS.

NORA.’s six-song, coming-of-age collection, captures the ache, clarity, and courage of early adulthood — tracing moments of heartbreak and self-discovery. Blending indie pop with subtle folk, Americana and country textures, the EP showcases NORA.’s emotionally honest songwriting and irresistible, melody-driven sound.

"Clever and self-aware, the song channels Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, and Tate McRae energy, while still carrying the Southern charm of artists like Maren Morris and Kelsea Ballerini."

["Too Good To Be True."] - Entertainment Focus

Underscoring her strength as a songwriter, NORA. gave a candid interview and made the live performance debut of her title track “Just Words.” on central Pennsylvania’s WITF-FM Sessions (NPR/PBS).

In her interview, NORA. shared, “This is the first project that I’ve ever put out and I’m really excited about it. It’s like the normal, twenty-something struggles, and me figuring them out. One hundred percent of my songs are from my experience and the feelings in them are very real.”

Folk N Rock premiered “Somebody’s Secret,” earlier this week in the lead-up to release remarking, "She takes the messy edges of a bad situation and wraps them in a song so sweet you almost forget it cuts." The carefully crafted review spotlights yet another standout moment from the EP ahead of the impending Valentine’s Day holiday.

With emotionally gripping songs saturated in NORA.'s hallmark, a candid and unfiltered storytelling style, her debut EP has earned praise from media and industry executives alike:

“NORA. has the ability to translate experiences into relatable lyrics, and she has the musical chops to back it up.” - Music Connection

"Just Words. blends shimmering indie-pop textures with subtle folk and country edges, a sound that feels rooted in Nashville yet eager to push beyond its borders." - Entertainment Focus

“...A lyric-driven songwriter who makes extraordinary music about ordinary topics, creating a soundtrack to the shared human experience.” - Andrew Leahey

“The blend of contemporary country-pop elements will surely appeal to fans of Kelsea Ballerini, Taylor Swift, and Kacey Musgraves,” - Fandom Daily

“Nora is a unique artist who is not afraid to be herself and be heard. I’m rooting for her to have a long and successful career,” Hank Adam Locklin, Nashville-based entertainment executive, producer, and songwriter.

"We see a lot of artists at Whiskey Jam, and it’s rare to see one with the pure confidence that NORA. exudes. She’s having fun up there, she really believes in what she’s sharing, and people are naturally drawn to that." - Ward Guenther, Founder at Whiskey Jam // Host of Ward Guenther Show & Country Risers Radio on AppleMusic

NORA. recently released the music video for the anchor track “Since I’ve Been Gone." earlier this month. The lyrical retrospective is a deeply personal song about returning to her childhood home and coming to terms with evolution and adulthood.

“Filming this video in my hometown—and in my very own childhood bedroom—was such a surreal, full-circle experience. This song is incredibly personal to me; it lives in that space between nostalgia and the push-and-pull of missing home while knowing you had to leave to spread your wings. Every moment of filming felt like a literal walk down memory lane, and I’m so grateful (and so excited) to finally share it with you all,” said NORA.

Directed by Karl Weidmann of Southern Cabin Films, the video places NORA. back in her childhood home, walking the empty hallways of her high school, and brushing past many recognizable landmarks in downtown Harrisburg, PA. NORA. shared more behind-the-scenes via her Instagram (HERE)

NORA.’s single “Since I’ve Been Gone.” continues to build momentum across platforms landing on Ones To Watch #NowWatching playlist, DittyTV’s New Music Friday playlist, Holler.’s Best New Country Songs playlist, and Fandom Daily’s Must-Listen tracks. In totality, Just Words. paints a deeply relatable and honest portrait of early adulthood and personal evolution.

Based in Nashville, Tenn., NORA. discovered her love for music and songwriting early, a passion that led her to Belmont University. New Single “Since I’ve Been Gone.” sets the stage for JUST WORDS., a debut EP exploring authenticity, self-discovery, and life’s messy moments

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 9th, 2025) — Quickly emerging as a fresh and captivating new voice in Nashville’s music scene, singer-songwriter NORA. announces the release of her debut EP JUST WORDS., out on Jan. 30th. The announcement comes alongside the release of her striking new single “Since I’ve Been Gone., and the unveiling of the EP’s tracklisting*. “Since I’ve Been Gone.” is now available on streaming platforms everywhere, listen (HERE).

“Since I’ve Been Gone.” is the follow up to NORA.’s unapologetically, bold debut single, “Kiss My Ass.”, which landed on Holler.’s Best New Country Songs playlist and Entertainment Focus’s Best New Releases. Both songs will be included on her forthcoming EP JUST WORDS.

“Genuinely, I want to connect, relate and share real conversations. My hope is that listeners hear these songs and think, ‘I’ve been there too.’ These songs are personal —they’re my thoughts, my feelings, and my experiences — they’re literally just words. Honest, raw, and unfiltered. This is me. NORA. Period,” she said.

Establishing herself as a voice to watch, NORA.'s songs blend shimmering indie-pop with subtle folk-country edges, and it’s her authenticity that keeps listeners hooked. She knows how to capture the chaos of growing up, the sting of heartbreak, the ache of nostalgia, and the thrill of finally stepping into who you are.

Her debut EP JUST WORDS. is a reflection of that journey — a collection of songs shaped by early adulthood, self-discovery, and the sometimes beautiful, sometimes painful process of letting go.

Tracks like “Since I’ve Been Gone.” revisit the version of herself she left behind, while bold, confident songs like “Kiss My Ass.” channel the self-respect and humor that define her generation - one that values honesty, relatability and self-expression more than curated perfection. Title track “Just Words.” is a vulnerable exploration of love, trust, and emotional honesty - a jaw-dropping reflection that pulls at your emotional heartstrings, and confronts the pain of words that feel empty, questioning whether ‘I love you’ still holds meaning.

With this bold display of new music, NORA. invites listeners into the middle of the mess — the uncertainty of post-grad life, the push and pull between home and independence, and the brave choice to bet on yourself even when it scares you.

NORA. shared, "This song is about returning to my hometown and slipping back into an older version of myself — one that I had outgrown. I realized just how much I evolved, and how little had changed around there. It was a strange feeling... and a bit isolating, but also freeing.”

Set to a nostalgic, synth-driven backdrop that nods to the cinematic pop of the 1980s, the song was inspired by a trip back home after time spent in Nashville and after graduating college. As she revisits the people, places, and past versions of herself that shaped her —from childhood friends to the quiet familiarity of her old bedroom—NORA. reflects on what she’s outgrown and what still remains. With a clearer, more seasoned perspective, she details the emotional shift between who she once was and who she’s becoming.

“Since I’ve Been Gone.” offers a glimpse of her forthcoming debut EP JUST WORDS., a collection of songs born from a period of self-discovery and growth. Originally from Harrisburg, PA, NORA.’s love for music and songwriting eventually led her to Belmont University in Nashville. It was there, nestled deep in the heart of Music City, that her songwriting bloomed. She began playing more guitar. She began creating new music, taking inspiration not only from her daily conversations with her roommates – brother Nicholas and cousin Ben – but from eclectic artists and influences including Olivia Dean, Kasey Musgraves, and Gracie Abrams, too.

After graduating college, she left the security of a 9-to-5 job to fully embrace the uncertainty of pursuing her own creative path. Through writing, reflecting, and exploring her true self, she has crafted music that is raw, relatable, and unmistakably her own. With a voice that commands attention and songs that resonate deeply, NORA. has been featured by Hitting The Road podcast, Authority Magazine, and she recently took the stage at Nashville’s iconic Whiskey Jam.

“I wrote this song after breaking up with a guy who spent a lot of time telling me how ‘special’ and ‘great’ I was. In hindsight, I think what he really loved about me was how easy it was to get away with doing whatever he wanted while I quietly became a nice little accessory in his life.
