NORA. RELEASES CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED
DEBUT EP JUST WORDS. TODAY
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 30, 2026) - Rising singer-songwriter NORA. makes a powerful first statement today with the release of her highly-anticipated debut EP, Just Words. Already generating buzz across outlets including The Honey Pop, Unclear Magazine, Entertainment Focus, Holler, OnesToWatch, DittyTV, FandomDaily, and WITF Sessions, the project positions NORA. as one of the most compelling new voices in contemporary pop.
NORA.’s six-song, coming-of-age collection, captures the ache, clarity, and courage of early adulthood — tracing moments of heartbreak and self-discovery. Blending indie pop with subtle folk, Americana and country textures, the EP showcases NORA.’s emotionally honest songwriting and irresistible, melody-driven sound.
"Clever and self-aware, the song channels Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, and Tate McRae energy, while still carrying the Southern charm of artists like Maren Morris and Kelsea Ballerini."
["Too Good To Be True."] - Entertainment Focus
Underscoring her strength as a songwriter, NORA. gave a candid interview and made the live performance debut of her title track “Just Words.” on central Pennsylvania’s WITF-FM Sessions (NPR/PBS).
In her interview, NORA. shared, “This is the first project that I’ve ever put out and I’m really excited about it. It’s like the normal, twenty-something struggles, and me figuring them out. One hundred percent of my songs are from my experience and the feelings in them are very real.”
Folk N Rock premiered “Somebody’s Secret,” earlier this week in the lead-up to release remarking, "She takes the messy edges of a bad situation and wraps them in a song so sweet you almost forget it cuts." The carefully crafted review spotlights yet another standout moment from the EP ahead of the impending Valentine’s Day holiday.
With emotionally gripping songs saturated in NORA.'s hallmark, a candid and unfiltered storytelling style, her debut EP has earned praise from media and industry executives alike:
“NORA. has the ability to translate experiences into relatable lyrics, and she has the musical chops to back it up.” - Music Connection
"Just Words. blends shimmering indie-pop textures with subtle folk and country edges, a sound that feels rooted in Nashville yet eager to push beyond its borders." - Entertainment Focus
“...A lyric-driven songwriter who makes extraordinary music about ordinary topics, creating a soundtrack to the shared human experience.” - Andrew Leahey
“The blend of contemporary country-pop elements will surely appeal to fans of Kelsea Ballerini, Taylor Swift, and Kacey Musgraves,” - Fandom Daily
“Nora is a unique artist who is not afraid to be herself and be heard. I’m rooting for her to have a long and successful career,” Hank Adam Locklin, Nashville-based entertainment executive, producer, and songwriter.
"We see a lot of artists at Whiskey Jam, and it’s rare to see one with the pure confidence that NORA. exudes. She’s having fun up there, she really believes in what she’s sharing, and people are naturally drawn to that." - Ward Guenther, Founder at Whiskey Jam // Host of Ward Guenther Show & Country Risers Radio on AppleMusic
NORA. recently released the music video for the anchor track “Since I’ve Been Gone." earlier this month. The lyrical retrospective is a deeply personal song about returning to her childhood home and coming to terms with evolution and adulthood.
