The high-energy track and “kind of song you wish could go on forever” (Holler) will be included on Mike’s highly-anticipated new album Longcut, due out on Oct. 28th. Longcut ushers in an elevated sonic edge that signals growth for the artist and songwriter. We brought in a few new players and different elements that I thought were really crucial in making this album sound as good as it does,” said Mike.

“The song started out as an idea of mine, said Wriding. I was really frustrated with how some people viewed others they didn’t understand. This idea especially hit close to home for me and for Andrew, because we both have loved ones with autism, and have experienced this misunderstanding first hand. There are so many opportunities in the world to be a light in the darkness, and the more that Andrew and I talked about this, the more we saw the need to inspire more unity and more understanding in the world.”

Plan added, “I saw people I care about, people I respect, wall off their hearts to the experiences and struggles of other people, just because of an opinion or something they heard on the news. When the coronavirus took hold of the world and the divisions among people started to spike, both Kristine and I saw that the need for unity was greater than ever.
